    Windows temp folder filling quickly

Hi everyone, please could someone advise?
Since latest mega windows update a week or so ago my PC has been running out of disk space each evening, I cleared all pictures, videos and other files off C drive.
Drive was a little on heavy side anyway (250gb SSD) so I've ordered a 1Tb SSd which should be here soon onto which I'll clone my Windows 10 set-up.
However! it seems to fill remaining 145gb each evening with which I've found to be temp files that are all around the 1000kb mark (it fills constantly at a fairly high speed (if you delete a load it's filling quicker than can delete)).
I've sent a picture of a sample of these.
Any advice would be appreciated (baring in mind it needs to be very basic).
    Thanks in advance

    looks like that happened before...
here is what MS forums suggests:

reset the Store, clear the Store cache, and run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

    Hi again
    Thanks for replies
I've followed instructions on the MS help and ran trouble shooter which didn't find any problems, I now find I don't know what was supposed to happen if anything has at all (as I've pointed out not too bright).
I've just gone in and manually deleted all files in temp folder and suppose I'll have to wait and see if it still does this.

If it happens again use the idea about Settings, Privacy in one of the links I posted to try to identify the relevant app.

Did you reset the Store and cleared cache? (that wsreset command ...)

If nothing else help, Repair install with In-place upgrade perhaps could

When initializing the command (wsreset.exe), a command prompt comes up for a while, it then closes and a Microsoft store web page pops up.
It didn't clear the temp files I did that manually afterwards.
The picture shows a sample of files that are being put in there now (different from when first found this).
The folders at top are just a few of what is was there and are empty!, any ideas what is dumping these here? nothing there I recognize nor understand.

    Looks to be Store-related: see:

Windows 8 and above has an AppReadiness service. The purpose of the AppReadiness service is to query the Windows Store for category names that are associated with Windows Store Apps running on the computer and to confirm that Windows Store Apps are ready to run on the computer (checking that the user account has an associated Microsoft account if required and other such tasks). Specifically, the AppReadiness services gets apps ready for use the first time a user signs in to their PC and when adding new apps.

Do you have any UWP apps that you have downloaded and installed, or just those that come with Windows?

If the latter in particular, try

From the link I first posted:

To reset Microsoft Store, select Start >Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, then scroll down and select Windows Store Apps from the list and select Run the troubleshooter.

To clear the Microsoft Store cache, press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, then type wsreset.exe and click OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and the Store will open automatically.
    You've done this part...

To reset Windows Update, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, then scroll down and select Windows Update from the list, and select Run the troubleshooter.
Reboot your computer and see if you are still experiencing the issue.

And as AndreTen has already suggested, simply save a lot of time and head for an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data.
For that you will need an iso of the same build, 'bitness' and base language as you have installed.

I've already done all the things you said even windows update trouble shooter which claimed no problems, I suppose its the install/repair option! this scares me *£$%$£"$ so will have to think hard about it before commiting to an attempt.
    Thank you anyway.
