No sir, it'll show the same. Unallocated space does not appear as any drive letter or partition. It's unused. Has no drive letter, not in any partition. Empty, ready for you to create a partition or 2, or 3, and Windows will assign drive letters to them and they will show up in My PC, etc.
It is fine. It looks the way it is supposed to. Your clone operation did it correctly, and only used what it needed.

1 tb ssd is now primary boot device but still only 232gb total available so reporting full when that is reached, looked in disk management and there is un-allocated space but don't know how to incorporate it into primary partition.
To add some to the C: partition, follow this:
Extend Volume or Partition in Windows 10
You don't need to incorporate the entire 800GB into the C: partition. Save some for extra partitions to store other data.
Thank you for that, however! I suspect I've made a giant error.
I must admit when I installed and cloned onto new disk I didn't format disk beforehand! I assume forgetting this has caused the fact that in disk management the option to extend volume is greyed out.
Do I need to format it and clone again (start over)?
Suggest you use a 3rd party partition manager to view your partitions and post a screenshot. Sometimes a partition is present which is not visible in Disk Management.
E.g. Minitool Partition Wizard
These tend to be easier to use than Disk Management and more fully featured.
Given that this has taken two weeks and is still not resolved ...
Why not try another solution? Take the computer to a local computer repair store.
I've done so ... not because I couldn't do the repair myself ... but because I was in the midst of a move and did not have the time.
If you don't have the time or the ability ... let a pro shop do it, right?
Windows disk management is very limited. Extending the system partition is sometime problematic... (not 100% sure..)
Follow what dalchina recommended.. Minitool partition wizzard is free for home use, will let you manage partition with GUI.

Windows has now been updated to latest build, took PC to Anglian Internet to get help with temp folder problem (must admit complexity was getting better of me, they couldn't sort the problem saying there is an issue in my profile and have created a new account login and there is no temp folder problem with this.
Once I've finished getting all I need setup (much like a clean install with nothing on there), I now have another problem one which I fear I've probably caused!
I'm hoping there is someone here with experience with MS outlook email.
I use Microsoft Office 2007 outlook for my mail and made an error setting up account, when I input out going mail I put "mail@plus.net" instead of "mail.plus.net".
When I try to login to my mail I get errors but tried and tried can't get into program to correct this.

Also I can't find my book marks I had in Chrome, when I go to my old profile they are there in chrome as usual but! when looking in windows file explorer the favorite folders are empty???
