Reverse video screen flash then single beep ??

I honestly don't know if this is a Win 10 issue of caused by something running on top of it.
It happens intermittently where the active window (usually a browser - either Chrome/FF) goes into reverse video for a second then I get a beep. NO errors, just an annoyance!

There's nothing in ANY win log that I can find.. not even at the info level.
I thought it might be due to the auto-refresh "plugins" in both browsers, and disabled both to test. Still happens.

Looking for some thoughts on anyone having seen something like this, or suggestions on a direction to take to resolve.
    TIA!

That sounds to me like a display driver problem. Just to bowl that out as a possibility,
1 go to the computer/display card maker & download then install the latest display driver.
2 go to the computer/motherboard maker and install any BIOS update that they provide.

I cannot say that this will definitely fix the problem but it will deal with the single most likely cause.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

    Denis, thx..
I have the latest drivers installed for everything.. I upgraded my hardware [literally] 2 days ago.. and it was happening BEFORE the upgrade on the old hardware.
NOTE: I had the same GPU before the upgrade.
    Current System = Ryzen 3700X, 32GB RAM, ASRock X570 Phantom, NDIVIA GTX970.
I'm not a gamer, so I can probably rule that out.
The X570 is a brand new mobo, but I'll check if there's a BIOS update out.. and do some research in that direction.
    thx

PS: mobo has latest BIOS version installed.
I'll do some research on the GPU side.
