    Start Menu

Recently noticed issue with the start menu.
I usually have 5 or 6 items at the top of my start menu under the category "Most Used" Now for whatever reason, I no longer have this. Any idea why would be helpful.

One thing with Windows of late, is it's like a childs toy, everyday something else is broken. Start Menu-untitled-1.jpg

It's weird. The option is available in preferences but you can't turn it on. At least I can't.

The tiles will change for the apps that you use most often
I personally like the 3rd party appOpenShell (previously ClassicShell) this makes the Start menu look like Windows 7 with the All Programs list, and a Recent Items list. If you don't like it you can easily toggle back to the Windows 10 Tiles.

So why have all my most used apps vanished?

That option for me has always been switched on, still it doesn't work.
