Dump files not created due to paging file issues
I am having system shutdowns and wanted to view a dump file, but couldn't find one. I have it set to create a kernel memory dump at %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP
Any time I try to change the dump settings (I wanted to uncheck restart system) I get the following error:
"Windows might not be able to record details that could help identify system errors because your current paging file is disabled or less than 800 megabytes."
But, I do have the paging file enabled, on my C drive (SSD) and set to system managed size (currently 16384 MB). Why is it telling me that my paging file is disabled or too small, and how can I fix this so that the dump files are created?
