    Not much that you can do if you are using your Microsoft ID to track your game use. Only thing that gets sent back to MS and the software company for SIMS is your OS, CPU, GPU, IP that was used if done through say Steam. Nothing else gets sent to them that would tell you anything private or web browsing type history.

    Except the thing is, I am not using my Microsoft ID for Origin/Uplay. I have accounts for the those programs that are not linked to my Microsoft account. The Sims 4 is the only Origin game I play (currently), so I can't really tell if EA is reporting everything wholesale. However, I have loaded up multiple Ubisoft games since mid-July when this kicked in, but only AC Odyssey ever got logged.

    I have fully opted out of this logging, yet it logs anyway

    I understand EA will track how I play there games, but how is that information getting to my specific Microsoft account?

    Pardon the double post

    Windows 10 sending user activity logs to Microsoft even when asked not to -Updated with Official Statement - MSPoweruser

    When I get home, I will check the diagnostics to basic thing. That is the one privacy setting, I normally don't disable. I might have left it on full willingly (or it may have reverted to full after an update, such as the 1903 update from late June). The Sims 4 diagnostics or AC Odyssey diagnostics might feed into there (but AC 3 Remastered diagnostics might not).

    Hello,

    You might see if you may be able to clear your activity history using option 2 in the tutorial below with the online Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.

    Clear Activity History from Cloud in Windows 10
    @Brink

    I did some searching.

    Apparently other Windows 10 PC gamers have the same issue

    Windows 10 still collecting activity history despite being disabled. : Windows10

    Why it started in July for me is a bit befuddling, maybe Microsoft fixed something but then broken it again in the 1903 update (which I did at the end of June)?

    Always a possibility. Be sure to send feedback to MS about this to hopefully have a fix soon.

    Sorry for the delayed reply. How do I that exactly? (Through the privacy center page or somewhere through Windows?)

    The Feedback Hub app is the best way to send feedback from.
