How do I DISABLE Ctrl-F11 full screen mode in File Explorer?

I have another app I often press Ctrl-F11 for, and I do this almost instinctively.

I end up maximizing File Explorer when I don't want to because I hit Ctrl-F11 and it maximizes by File Explorer.

How do I disable FULL SCREEN MODE in File Explorer, or just disable Ctrl-F11, but for only that "app", which is File Explorer, but not others?

    Thanks!

Hi, as this needs to be conditional, you could use a script in Autohotkey (free, well supported):
Continuous loop testing for file explorer being in focus, and if so reassign the hotkey.

Only problem- the very specific test you'd need is not something I've looked at, so you'd need to check the extensive help file - or ask in the supportive forum.

Scripts can be tested line by line- quite easy to try from an executable text file.

    Alternative fix: discipline.
