Microsoft wont let me print a document
Just got windows latest update. Need to print an adobe pdf. Tried printing it from adobe software but MICROSOFT insists on me crating an account first.

There are plenty of ways of printing pdfs and free pdf readers, if the problem rests with using Adobe software.
Please post a screenshot or screenshots of the sequence leading to a prompt for account creation so we can see what you're doing and what sort of account it is you're referring to. Thanks.

No the problem is with MICROSOFT. I have been using my computer for years. I am it trained. I know how to print a PDF document (No stupid). I open it up this morning in adobe acrobat reader as I have done hundreds of times before. After getting a massive windows 10 update. I have to NOW sign in to Microsoft to print it. This has just started happening after the update. I was forced to go into a large question are asking me about my data and how wanted to use it. It even had a section for me to use Microsoft to locate my lost devices. Don't want this and don't need this.
In desperation I created an account (forced on me by Microsoft) then I am asked where bloody one note is to store this document.
In the old days (to current) the procedure was simple.
Since the update all my links on the start up fave gone including Microsoft paint to be replaced with a load of crap games to play.
File -> Print Now it is
File -> Print {Log into a Microsoft account} -> Store file in one note.Last edited by otuatail; 16 Aug 2019 at 04:00.

What have you got set as your default printer normally? as looking at your screen shots you've currently got 'send to Onenote' set as the printer! I would suggest you change that to your normal default printer and try again.

That looks like a good point.. and otuatail - we don't have crystal balls to second guess why you are seeing the problem you are, nor do we have access to your computer. So can I suggest, rather than being so imperatively dismissive, you do take time to provide the evidence to people who are willing to give up free time to help you.
If indeed you are IT trained, you might have considered investigating your printer settings.

My printer settings were fine before the latest Microsoft (forced) update. Why does Microsoft want me to use one note now. Never used it before. Infrasonic has had same problem. Now it doesn't recognize my devices. I have to go back to control panel and auto play and ask every time again to set it up.

Microsoft want me to play all the stupid games now. Removes all my original links. Thank you bill sodding gates / Microsoft.
All I want is my original start menu back. Never told Microsoft to replace it with it's fantastic new one.

After Microsoft updates
1.l Go to start menu delete all the new crap games and stuff
2. Add all the original links to Office, photoshop and paint back again.
3. Go to auto run and set to ask everything and reset all the defaults all over again
4. Create a Microsoft account as you will need this now to print everything
5. Set up one not as you will need to use this even if you don’t want to.

Coming from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I'm afraid the closest you will get to your original Start Menu is Classic Shell. May work out ok for you.

No one forces you to use One Note.
CRAP. Yes it does. Bill gate's Microsoft does. What it does is add a new printer driver to One Note and set this as a default. So you (Microsoft engines) are full of B*U*L*L* D*H*I*T.
