You just need to format the USB as Fat32
Then copy contents of mounted ISO to USB

If your PC boots MBR - Then you will have to set the USB Partition as Active

I have NEVER had to use Rufus

The thumb drive needs to be formatted Fat32 to boot properly.

    OK Navy...

Well I've already used Rufus for now. (changed to FAT32) Doesn't matter anyway. I booted and hit F11 to boot from USB and it came up with the "Scanning and Repairing" crap and I'm just sitting here waiting. Screen has been blank now for 15 mins and the HD light is churning away.

OK so it seems that it never really booted to the USB. Now it's moved on to the "Diag your PC" This is the loop I have been trying to get away from.

Moving on to trying something else now :)

Deleting Rufus will not clear this

"I booted and hit F11 to boot from USB and it came up with the "Scanning and Repairing" "

    But do as you wish.
