Vivaldi browser uses the Pepper version of Flash (PPAPI) that Chromium or Chrome uses. ... Check your Flash version by adobe.com/software/flash/about and check the PPAPI version. ... Click Download and run the file, after installing the Flash Player, reopen or restart the browser.
That should be the same as your Chromebook uses so it ought to work.

I've been using Vivaldi for the past 9 months and can't see ever using another browser. Individual tab zooming, tab stacking, copy stack to favourites and customize everything from Dark Theme to menu positions on the screen. Not to mention it only uses a fraction of the system resources of firefox or chrome. I'm sold.

One more important feature, it uses Chrome extensions or add-ons from google-chrome.

I wouldn't even use flash if it wasn't for where I need to take my classes. I can't wait until it is gone. I know they are working on rebuilding how we do our classes but they are taking their sweet time. It has been known for quite awhile now that adobe flash is on its way out. I am looking through vivaldi forums atm. I think it will work. Thanks for all the info. If it doesn't work then it is no biggie to swtch to my chromebook. My classes are the only reason I purchased the chromebook as I don't really want to run chrome on my windows laptop anymore.. Too power hungy.

Thanks. I am going to download it tonight. I have been looking for a good alternative to Edge. I don't really mind edge but it is always nice to try out others to get a better fit.

So the ppapi flash version is different from the regular adobe flash?Safer version? I have it turned off in Edge. I guess I just have this thing about being as safe online as I can.

It is exactly like the chrome setup in my chromebook so at least it will be familiar and easy to set up for my classes.
