Hi, can you demonstrate that actually works with a folder containing video files? I tried that, and the format doesn't fit, and it didn't work.

Note too that the 00:10:00 is not highlighted.

Whereas the numbers in the example I quoted above are.
Sorry, Try3 is correct. It lists every video. Input in miliseconds doesn't work for me either..

Here's proof- fewer are listed with a change from 8 to 7. All you have to do is get the power of 10 correct!

The revised syntax, such as kind:video length:>27000000, lists false results for me. >27000000 is >45 minutes yet my results include files that are below this level.

I gave up on this a long time ago and will probably give up again. If I'm looking for music or video files, I just set the highest level folder into Details view and search for *.* / *.mp3 / *.ts etc and then sort the results by the Length column & scan down until I see what I am after.

    No, 27000000 is 2.7 seconds

    Time is in 0.1 microseconds

    1 minute is 600000000

Yes, I realised that I had forgotten to try something just as I was pressing Post. Then I had an unexpected connection problem and it has taken me this long to get up again to delete it.

I could see that the syntax was correct [it was all in blue] so I experimented with adding 0s until it worked [at 10ths of MicroSeconds]. And only then did I see that I had already been told that.

I have already started writing out I must always trust dalchina 100 times.

    All the best,
    Denis

    - as you'll note, I cribbed the idea anyway, so credit to the original source. The implementation is really weird though.

    Note this works:
    kind:video length:<90000000 >80000000

and considering e.g. 75000000 the resolution is to at least the second most sigificant digit as it's possible to discriminate between different videos all of whose length is shown as 00:00:07

<= >= <> and = all appear to be supported.

@x509 - ok, does it specifically solve the problem as stated in post #1?
it gives you a list like regular Explorer. Then sort or inspect as needed.
