    problem with my start/search bar on Windows. Can't type in search bar


    Hello,

    I am on Windows 10. I got on my computer this morning and noticed I had an issue with my window search bar. Whenever I click in the bottom left search, I get a popup that says Undo and Paste. This provents me from being able to type. It's almost as if I was right clicking. If I click the start button I also get this prompt and it doesn't allow me to scroll through my apps. This is also the case when I am on Microsoft Edge and click into the search bar there. However I can use Mozilla Firefox or any other search bar without any issues.

    I do use a Steel Series gaming mouse and keyboard which I use heavily in gaming. My first thought was that maybe one of my keys was sticking but I've tried unplugging the keyboard and clicking in the search bar and it still happens. I've also tried a different mouse and nothing changes.

    Given that it doesn't happen with any other search bar besides my windows and MS Edge search I'm not sure it's a physical issue.

    Has anyone run into this or know the fix?

When I click the start button and start typing to search for something, I want it to search on my computer, not internet too. Can this be changed to do that? If I want to search the web I'll open Google.
