    Looks like 'reg save' will be as good as anything RegIdleBackup will do for you, so go for it!
    Actually, I'd be surprised if using my backup hives will ever save me from a true disaster, but it's comforting to always have one more backup plan to try.

    Definitely a ways down the recovery tree for sure

    1. Macrium image backup.
    2. System Restore.
    3, Reset saving personal files.
    4. Registry files from regback.
    5. Repair install if bootable.
    6. Parallel install if not bootable.
