    Query RE Putting PC to Sleep


    I'm not sure which group to put this in but here's my query:

    I'm not sure when this started happening, but I'm sure it's after 1903 feature update. I can't be sure if it happened prior to July patch.

    I put my PC to sleep at night. When I hit the sleep button, the screen would go black and the PC would go to sleep. Now when I hit the sleep button, the screen goes blue, then black, then the login screen comes on before eventually going black and to sleep. Is this normal now? If not, what would cause this.


    PS: I did alter my registry to add verbose mode during booting.

    That could be the reason.
    Try booting into Safe Mode Make sure Fast Startup is disabled, and restart in Normal Mode.

Most of the times, my display doesn't come back or wake at all even if I try to open it via the power button. Moreover, even if it does come back, my laptop loses sound.

I was told by an IT Pro to put the laptop to sleep when I was done using it. Why then overnight at times i turn it on the next day and it is completely shut down, I must hit the power button to get it back on, who or why does this happen?
My Avast Internet Security program is suggesting that the following programs (see image below) are slowing down my computer. AIS wants to put them to sleep, but I have no idea whether or not doing this will cause problems??? 169621
Now that I have WIN10 it's not possible for me to easily put the computer to sleep. The Power button shows the three options but a single click or a double click on SLEEP yields a dark screen but then an active screen reappears in about 6 seconds....
