    IRMT warnings every bootup

    Good morning,

I just replaced my Desktop HP Pavillion All-in-One with another HP All-in-One. However, the new one (HP 24-F0137c) comes with an Intel Core i5@1.70 GHz CPU.

Since setting it up about a week ago I notice on every boot up 13 IRMT Warnings (Event Viewer warning #2000 - NeverSleepAgentService) appear.

I have never had an Intel system before and even after 'googling' I am still confused about these 13 entries after every boot.

I also notice in Services the IRMT service is set to start 'automatically.

Just trying to find out if these 13 warnings are harmless and/or is there a way to keep them from appearing in Event Viewer with out messing up my computer?

    Thanks and regards,

    I bro67,

I appreciate your response. I have seen that link before and it still leaves me in the dark as to whether or not I can safely remove it or at least safely stop the service from starting automatically on my computer.

Hopefully someone will come along that has actually tried removing it or at least stopping the service from automatically running on a Win 10 machine with an Intel CPU.

    Thanks and regards,

    Hi again Bro67,

Since this computer is less than 10 days old I decided to just let it installed for the time being. However, as a test since you last posted I tried just 'Disabling' it in "Services". The only difference I noticed was in Event Viewer .... instead of 13 IRMT entries it dropped to 6.

So to be on the safe side I just now put it back to starting in the 'Automatic' mode in Services and will let it go like that for awhile and learn to live with the 13 warnings ....lol

Thanks again for hanging in here with me.

    Regards,
