Just to round things off I suggest running SFC. See SFC - TenForumsTutorials
Do not be concerned if you get errors about Windows defender components [the recent update to WD was badly written].
- The SFC log ["CBS.log"] is far too big to be reviewed manually. It is also written to by other Windows components.
- I posted instructions for extracting relevant parts of the SFC log ["CBS.log"] at my ditty about extracting from CBS log - TenForums
- In that post, I would expect you to want to use the code I put under the heading To extract all SFC failures to repair into a text file
My own list of irreparables was similar to or the same as the lists that others reported. So here it is as an example of what you might see yet should not worry about.
