    Windows 10 Home x64 and Pro x86

    I do recall hearing that people had that problem with the transition from XP to Win7 so it might well be the case that it affects your Win7 to Win10 transition. I don't think there was any solution at the time.

    I think you have said that you to have too many folders to contemplate replacing every single one with a new folder.

    Probably about 400 - not too many - but it would take some time.
    I'll probably leave as it is for now.

    Probably not do a Repair Install, because there probably is nothing that cold be put right.
