Laptop Screen Blue Tint when plug/unplug USB's

Hi, this is my first post in TenForums!

My laptop is acting weird since a couple months ago. The first time was when I unplugged my external hdd. I noticed that the screen colors turned a bit colder, some sort of blueish tint appeared. On all this time I've noticed that this happens when:

    • I plug/unplug my external hdd/mouse from the usb ports. (Sometimes this also happens when I click the option to Eject Mass Storage from the Safely Remove Hardware option in the System Tray).
    • When I'm playing games / closing games.
    • If I close the laptop and the screen turns off / sometimes this fix the issue and colors goes back to normal. Sometimes don't.
    • Sometimes, when I turn on the laptop it starts with the blue tint and after a period of time goes back to normal by it's own.

I opened it up, it wasn't that dusty. I cleaned it up. Unppluged the monitor cable. (I havent touch the graphics card yet.) I already have all the drivers up to date. What could be the problem? I think mybe it's something related to the voltage on the usb ports but I don't know. I din't see anything wierd when I was inside.

    Here are my laptop specs:
    ASUS K556U
    12GB RAM
    NVIDIA GTX 940MX
    Windows 10, 1809.

Wait until it happens again, then immediately do the following:
    - open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
    - expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
    - right click on the "Administrative Events" heading
    - select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
    - save the file as Admin.evtx
    - zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
    - upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

We'll take a look at what's happening in that report and then will figure out where to go from there.

Blue Tinting can be an issue with Nightlight mode. Try uninstalling the GPU device and driver and Monitor driver, reboot and let Windows install default drivers.

Several User Profile Service errors, but not much information on them.
Still can't tell if it's a hardware or software problem.

Have you tried bro67's suggestions? If not, please do so and let us know the results

Once that's done, if it still hasn't fixed things - try this stuff next:
    - SFC and DISM
Press the Win and X keys at the same time, it'll open up a menu in the lower left corner
    Select Windows Power Shell (Admin)
Type in "sfc.exe /scannow" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    Let it run

Once finished, type in "DISM.exe /Online /Check-Image /RestoreHealth" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Let it run (it may take a long time and may appear to freeze - still let it run).

    Let us know the results

After that, the next step is to try RESETs/repair installs of Windows
If that also fails - then we start looking for hardware problems.
