    Anyone know what this is?

Anyone recognize this message or know how to stop it? With all the viruses and malware going around, you would think AMD would have something more official looking than this???

That's for your AMD video drivers. Your right! It doesn't look official. But that's the Windows 10 interface for you! Flat and ugly... I only update my video drivers if I were having driver issues. Put if you feel the need to update you go right ahead and click that Visit Download Page or Download Button.

Click visit the download page If it doesn't come up with https://www.amd.com/en/support
    Then its not AMD .
Catalyst is not totally supported in Windows 10, So you should be wary about updating your
Video drivers in this manner even if its Amd's preferred way. Installing the wrong driver
    can make your video unstable.
Better to go to the support page and download drivers for your specific system. and install only if
    you believe you need them.
On my system I note the driver version and available then click "skip ".
Then I visit the support page and see if the driver will cause my system any trouble
Before downloading it from there and installing.

There should be a setting in the AMD GPU driver utility to disable automatic updates. Else use Autoruns to disable the offending task.

I use AMD everything all the time, never seen that. Looks more like from some 3rd party driver/SW updater, check with Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner.

So I can uninstall the program and it won't remove the driver?

Maybe this will work for you even though this is a different version than yours.
Go to your AMD Catalyst Control Center & uncheck AMD Catalyst Software Suite
