    Recovery: Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

    I googled it and tried some solutions but none of them worked. This is a friend's laptop. Not sure what they did to make this happen but we wanted to sell it and split the profits so I would prefer if it were in working order. Thanks.

    The laptop was just used for games and some light video editing. I asked him, he doesn't care if he loses that data.

    Depending on the make and model of the laptop there is usual recovery partition that you can access on boot up to bring the system back to factory defaults. What's the make and model of the laptop?

in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
