    OneDrive and Toolbar

Hi all. Did a recent OneDrive update cause the icon on the toolbar to change? Because It's now been stuck left to my audio slider and right to my ethernet icon when I turned on my PC today. At first the entire toolbar blinked (like we can see when Microsoft apps are being updated) and two of my icons inside the "Arrow" didn't load, even though both programs worked fine. I restarted my computer and that fixed itself, but OneDrive is now on the toolbar instead of it being inside the arrow.

I just want to know if this is something everyone else is seeing also after a recent update to it?
and second, can this placement change cause the toolbar to "blink" and make other icons "disappear"? Because I don't know what that was all about. My only explanation is that placemenet change caused it initially.

Do you mean that it's looking like this: Click image for larger version.

If so that's correct, it was recently updated to match the styling of the office and other icons.

Right, but it used to be inside the arrows, now it's outside, if you know what I mean? The arrow where you can get more icons.

You mean the hide apps on the taskbar arrow? You can select which icons appear on the taskbar. If you go to settings - personalisation - taskbar - turn icons on or off. Onedrive is listed there.

Hide app icons, that's the one yes, but Onedrive is not there to me. It's listed under that other tab "choose what icons are displayed on the toolbar" - roughly translated. It's very confusing because it says that the Nvidia settings container is turned off, yet it's showcased inside the arrow, but Onedrive slider is on and it's showcased outside the toolbar? I just don't understand how this works.

But my point is simple: It used to be hidden, now it's not. I didn't touch anything. My disorder is kicking in hard when placement changes are made without me knowing about them because I think something is wrong. Icon changes in terms of visuals are fine, but their placements should not change without my consent. That's what I'm asking about, if anyone else saw this after the update? And when placement changes like this initially happens, can it cause the toolbar to blink (like when other apps are being updated) and cause other icons to get stuck/disappear? It may seem trivial really, because everything is fine, but I need to know to quench my disorder.

Thank you. It's early, but I panicked when I turned on the PC in the morning and I saw the toolbar blinking, two of my icons was gone and Onedrive came out of its position.

When an Icon in the Taskbar is "Turned Off" that means it is behind the arrow where Hidden Icons are.
In Select which icons are displayed on the taskbar, you should see One Drive and you can choose to turn it off or "Hide" It. And it will be behind the arrow if you want to see it.
