You can check the location tab of both folders' properties page to see if they show the correct path.

Right click on the Downloads does show D:\Downloads in the location tab.
Budd doesn't have a location tab.

Sorry. Location would be in the General tab for the Budd folder.

Which method did you use to move the Downloads folder to "D"?

If you type shell:downloads in Run (Win+R) and click on OK, which location opens for the Downloads folder?

    It opens D:\downloads.
I used the Move option from the Location tab.

Odd that this below didn't restore your Downloads back to "C".

I don't want to restore it, I want to leave it at d:\Downloads.

Restoring it back to it's default location was in an effort to separate the Budd and Downloads folders. You would be able to move Downloads back to D again afterwards.

Do the folders appear to be separated now though? If so, you should be good to go if you also have the icon fixed.

Hate to hijack this thread 2 years later but I had the same exact problem as this user and managed to fix the name problem but I can't manage to get my User folder Icon back.. I can rightclick the folder and change it to Default through properties but it'll still just show a normal folder icon. And whenever I add the folder to Quick Access it shows the Download Icon. I'll link a short video for you to see my problem as it's kinda hard to explain. I feel like I've tried everything and that it's probably not fixable at this point. Thanks in advance.
