    unwanted pop up menus

because of my disability I am consistently dragging across a window. this results in menus popping up often in the place that I am trying to work. how do I stop these menus?
BTW, it might not make any difference in the solution but I am running Windows 10 on an ASUS Gamer..

Dragging implies e.g. you have your finger on a mouse button and then are moving the mouse.

I don't know if a different design of mouse might help there... you would need specialised advice. For example, if you had a multi-button mouse, you could reassign functions to buttons, and perhaps avoid pressing a button which would otherwise mean you were dragging.

As to menus popping up, well, that depends on the individual program concerned across whose window you are dragging something, so I can't see how you'd stop that- it's rather basic to the way the GUI works.

I have arthritis, and had the same problem so I move from a mouse to a trackball.
Logitech has several different models that might help. check their site

this is the one I use
