Windows Explorer is not automatically refreshing

There has never been a solution for this problem.
There have been a lot of alleged solutions that have turned out to be illusory.

The problem comes & goes as it has always done [since WinXP, apparently].
You might as well just reboot in the hope that it starts behaving itself again but in the knowledge that you'll just have to accept the situation if it does not.

The alternative is to waste your life studying fake solutions written by snake oil salesmen.

I hope I have not beaten around the bush too much.

Do you know what is the possible cause of this happening?
It started for me only recently..

yeah I have google this prior to this post
and they suggest
-regedit
-reset icon defaults
-etc..
I have reset the icons but still problem occurs..

It just comes & goes as it pleases.

There is no solution.
