Sounds like a corrupt Explorer.exe I suggest running sfc /scannow. Type CMD in the search box on the task bar bottom left. Right Click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator Type sfc /scannow "Note The Spacing" and hit Enter. After the scan is finished "It May Take A Bit" Restart the computer. Open the CMD as you did before and Copy & Past the following command and hit Enter: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%Youruserprofile%\Desktop\sfclogs.txt" Make sure that you change "Youruserprofile" to your account name. Upload the file with your next post.

Go to Settings/Personalization/Taskbar/Select Which icons appear on the taskbar. Turn on those that are missing.
