INTEL Run Amuck! in Task Manager

Do I need all these INTEL processes loaded up and running in task manager? It is not a problem with memory it just appears "untidy" to me : ) The second pic shows the only INTEL "program" in start Intel Driver Asst and Support. Do I really need that and is that the one that is loading up all those processes? Back in task manager in Startup it shows Intel Driver and support asst. tray disabled. Thank you.

If it is not giving you issues. I would just let it slide.

100% absolutely normal and expected. You have a lot of Intel components that those processes support.

No as far as Intel goes. Not home now to check but I only have about 6 items in start up and all of them are disabled. I believe the one in startup in task manager is the "Intel tray." Whatever it is there is something called INTEL but it is disabled.

Great : ) Let's see what havoc I can cause by GOOGLING the individual processes and see if I can nuke any of them

Why would you possibly want to do that? Is there a good reason to kill processes other than that you don't like lots of processes? My system is probably running upwards of 500 processes (NOT an exaggeration) and it runs beautifully.

Give a man a hammer and everything looks like a nail.

Give a man a task manager and everything looks like a process that needs to be killed.

It can be entertaining to watch a train wreck.

In this computer (4-year old Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop), I only see one Intel process, Intel PROset Monitoring Service. The CPU, the Ethernet adapter and the graphics systems are Intel. I see also 4 igfx... processes, maybe Intel processes. Five in total.
