    See Recent Items and Customize Start Menu


    I would like set my Win10 PC up similar to the way I have Windows 7 setup.
    I would like to see "Recent Items" and "Administrative Tools" on the Start Menu.

    Is there anyway to customize the start menu?

    If you mean "resent added: and "most used" at the top that is in settings.Setting>Personalizations>Start menu.
    Open Control panel (large icon view), right click on the admin tool icon and pin to start (you could also make a shortcut and place it where you want).

    Win-aero also makes an X menu editor for right click on start menu options.

    Administrative Tools should already be on the Start menu at Windows Administrative Tools:

    Open Administrative Tools from All Apps
