Since the 1903 update, my taskbar is a light colour. I have been to settings, colour, but the 'start menu, taskbar, action center' box is greyed out.
If I change main colour to dark then all folders go dark. I only want a dark taskbar.
Any help appreciated.

settings / personalization / colors check the automatically pick an accent color from your back ground

sorry , cut it off, scroll down near the bottom there's a check off box for taskbar.
experiment with the back ground color till you get what you want

Your right , It apparently it only works in Dark mode in light mode it is greyed out.
Never noticed that before.
Dark mode makes everything dark, I only want the taskbar dark.
