Big Cache (70.2 GB) after the update

    Hello everyone

a few weeks ago I updated windows from 1809 to 1903, Via Windows 10 Update Assistant.
But the cache is still there (70.2 GB), i try to clean it using Disk Cleanup/TuneUp/CCleaner, but it doesn't affect it.
if it is safe to delete manually/by force?

    and the second question ;
how to set up so that Storage Sense can work on another drive?
Because my PC uses an SSD for system (C),HDD for files (D) and another SSD for files (E), but in the Storage Sense section, it can only be activated in (C)

    Thank you

You should not delete any folder, never. If you delete any of them it may break some apps in Windows. The folder may store cache files of Windows Update (WU). You can use Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) as admin to clean that folder.

You can clear the cache, but you should only do so if you are having problems with Windows Update.
Be sure to read the warning at the top of the referenced article.

hmmmmm.... OP says he used Windows Update Assistant, not WU, as you are referring to. Cleanmgr won't/can't see temp folders on another drive, not designed to do that. He tried it, anyway.

Can't find any warnings at the top of the article you linked, other than it was being moved to a different site.

Those are temp folders. Any weird looking name of a long hex string is a temp folder. Size is a bit odd, like there were multiple attempts and stuff piled up. Be interesting to see the contents of the folder, not just the folder itself. My bet it can just be deleted.

    What are Cheat Codes?

Video game cheat codes, like the good old konami code for many games. Generally they give you a buff (extra lives, hp, continues etc) and sometimes they do other things like send you to a stage select menu.

Interesting. Don't game myself, and no need to cheat.

Did you understand the rest of my post?

    To the OP, @Triliuner

If you could post a screenshot of the contents of that 70GB folder, we could make a better suggestion to you. Please don't take the comment of "You should not delete any folder, never." too literally.

    Thanks.

I get this when I click on your attachment. Possibly you used copy/paste or frag/drop. Try the attach tool in the toolbar instead. Big Cache (70.2 GB) after the update-2019-06-25_12h07_03.png
