Hi i have recently upgraded from a 1080 to 1440 monitor , i have noticed that the text is patchy ( there are different shades of grey/black in the letters).
Is there a way to fix this ? i have tried running clear text without any luck.

What video card do you have installed? Have you tried checking for an updated driver for it?
Try Windows Update, see if it finds a driver for the new display.
Hi yes i have done , video card drive , windows driver , and monitor driver.
also i have 3 monitors and it looks alot worse on the 1140 than the 1080
Is this the 'blurry text' issue all over the web with Windows 10? Google 'fixing blurry text in Windows 10'.
(I'm not so sure about the advice in this article, but the advice given in the comments beneath it strike me as interesting.)

Hi , i have 3 monitors the 2 1080 resolution ones look ok , but the new 1440 resolution one has the problem , i have googled and tried things , and made sure the correct resolution's are selected etc, its like windows 10's text doesnt recognise the new resolution.
Are you using a different font or theme?
What video card? What driver version?
Every time I've seen this problem, going back to XP, it's been a video card or video driver that was the cause.
Hi just standard font theme , gtx 1060 , and i just did a fresh nvidia driver install .
Everything was fine on my 27" 1080 res monitor, i unplugged it and plugged in my new 1440 with display port, thats all i did /changed .
You could try the 385.12 beta driver:
You could go back to 430.86 if any problems with the beta driver.
Hi, ive ordered a vega 56 , so will be uninstalling nvidia card and drivers , and intalling new amd card and drivers , so if this doesnt solve them problem ill soon know :P
