PC comparison/help choosing the better option

WhatÂ’s good yÂ’all, fairly new to the PC community & i just wanna know which one is better performance wise for gaming. $20 difference between the 2 which is why iÂ’m indecisive between the 2 haha. Only games i really play is fortnite, minecraft & GTA a bit. HereÂ’s the specs between the 2:

Yeah i heard the R5 2600 is a bit better than the R7 1700. But the one w/ the R7 has more RAM, a slightly smaller GPU & $20 more than the first option. Even tho i don’t play games that are heavy on the GPU, even then i tend to play on the lowest settings anyway. Also, budget is $1000 or under too so that’s another factor. On the new Ryzen’s, i’m pretty impatient when it comes to waiting lol i don’t need a high end, powerful PC when i don’t plan on streaming or editing, just a cheap one that packs a punch in performance, which is how i came across these 2

Are you allowed to customize either build?

Example: to raise the level of coolness, you might want a motherboard with an M.2 PCI-E 3.0 X4 slot, and use an M.2 SSD, for a little more zip than a SATA SSD. (Might not show up much outside of benchmarks, but...) The Asrock A320M is available with a version with such an M.2 slot.

My personal choice since 1997 has been to assemble my desktop systems myself. It's not difficult. You need to specify case, power supply, motherboard, CPU, RAM, graphics card, storage (SSD and/or HD), and I'd recommend an optical drive. There are online recipes for systems, but just use them as starting points.

True, only a 2GB difference between the 2. I see what you’re saying about those new Ryzen’s releasing, makes sense. Unfortunately no i’m not able to edit either build, they’re already prebuilt. Yeah i’ve been recommended building my own but personally i don’t usually like dealing with that type of stuff. Not a lot of time, gotta be careful & have patience. All of which is somewhat lack lol. My question to you guys, personally, which of the 2 would you all pick ? I could then use your opinions as references/bench marks
