Well.... personally I think two OS's would be a good idea. One for desktops/powerful laptops and one for phones/mobile devices. They don't have to be entirely distinct and could be made compatible. It makes no sense to me to throw away the advances in power/capabilities of hardware for the sake of phones/pads. You cannot tell me, that Microsoft coders/programmers cannot do this.
It was called Windows Mobile, an operating system dedicated just for small mobile devices.
It obviously flopped and was rebuilt as Windows Phone.
I don't believe that just because it's called a "tablet" it automatically means you are restricted to do anything with it. A tablet with an i5 or i7 or A6 or A4 processor should be able to do what a desktop PC can do.
The question is, HOW?
What I like about Win 8.1 is that it works flawlessly in a "museum piece" laptop :singing:
Personally I like 8.1 running in 7 mode (Classic Shell) it's faster but still retains that pleasant 7 desktop. But I still have 7 on two machines that I can run as back ups
I attach mine to an album and then attach from there. All mine are too big too, and I always lose transparency when I resize them myself
