    Is There A Win10 Text to Speech Facility Included?


    I'm googling around and getting misled and confused... is there text to speech as part of win10? Or as a downloadable option?

    I believe you'll find it under Ease of Access in Settings. Narrator

    I found narrator and tried it a bit. It seems to read onscreen text like as for blind people. Where I'm thinking of something that just reads text you put to it...

    Perhaps I should have tried harder... maybe it'll confine itself to text in a word doc or something somehow if I root around....

    That's the only thing in the OS that you know of I guess?

    If I can't find anything this Balabolka thing might be the go.

    edit: ah.. you can get narrator to do all kinds of things... i got it to read a text page... good, thanks... but i'm on a learning curve... currently I can't switch it off... dddffff aahh.... it's exited.... I just wanted him to stop reading..

I want to change from "Microsoft David mobile" to "Microsoft Mark mobile" but I don't know how to save it and it goes back to Microsoft David mobile.
