So your issue is only in regards to the notification? Cause the entire discussion is about focus assist kicking in when simply in the desktop.. which is a cause of Geforce Experience behavior with 1903, neither of which (MS/Nvidia) is taking responsibility it seems.

The notification that auto assist had turned on was annoying the crap out of me because every time I minimized, maximized, opened or closed a window, the action center icon "lights" up with a notification that auto assist kicked in, which I then had to clear every time so I could tell when I had any actual notification(s). For me it isn't caused by Geforce Experience because, as I said, I don't have that installed. I do have a Geforce card, but I don't use Geforce Experience. Turning off the notification that auto notification kicked in at least means you can now know if you have an actual notification when the action center icon lights up.

This is not what i'm saying, your finding is nice, OK, thank you, but the main point of the thread was about Focus Assist kicking in on desktop when it shouldn't (Desktop is not a full screen application that should trigger Focus Assist), and that is caused by GeForce Experience which is a very bad experience.

Probably because none of which (MS/NV) would like to take responsibility.. reminds me of applications ping ponging defects at work.

Typical. The 1909 service pack is supposed to be released this month, so crossing fingers for it to be fixed by then. In the mean time, having the fullscreen mode deactivated in focus assist works like a charm.

    Yes, doing so too.
The 1909 is already due so soon? Or is it for insiders?

I did a google search and they all say; "Windows 10 version 1909 is the next major release of the OS, which is expected to release sometime in September 2019."

It's already being tested, and has been for many months now, so I assume they mean for public release.
