    Alt-F4 produces playlists

    Every time I use ALT-F4 for a current window it produces "Playlists" for music.

    Won't behave as before closing current window.

    How do I change back to normal ALT-F4 behavior?

    I did attempt to change things from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center but none of the settings have effected ALT-F4.

    Is this related to any specific programs? Like Spotify?

    I'm not familiar Windows 10 Music, Groove Music, etc and Spotify isn't installed. The only music I have is saved to a separate USB drive and only played using a media player such as VLC and Windows Media Player.

    Hmh.. strangely enough, there actually is a playlist on Spotify named "alt F4": alt F4 on Spotify

    But anywho, you wouldn't happen to have some sort of macro program open? Macro programs allow certain key functions to do other behaviors. For example, Alt+F4 can be redirected to do other functions (such as creating a new playlist).
    I use Macro Express and have it running all the time.

    Just a shot in the dark but does your keyboard have
    1 Anything else marked on the F4 key?
    2 A key labelled in blue as Fn / Function / similar

    If so then perhaps you have accidentally triggered its change to Fn behaviour so that pressing Alt-F4 is being seen as Fn-Alt-F4 and responding to that other marking on your F4 key. The method for triggering & resetting this behaviour varies so you'd have to check
    - Windows mobility centre interface, Function key row item [Enable Windows Mobility Center on a Desktop Windows 10 PC - TenForumsTutorials] - assuming that item exists on yours
    - Your computer/keyboard manual
    - Your computer/keyboard maker's support site / user forum.

    I was assuming something similar as pepanee.. check your Start up programs, if there is anything that could trigger shortcut redirection (open Task manager and check Startup tab - post a picture of it)

    It's invoking the Groove Music app, weird. Is Autohotkey installed?

    I think I found the problem

    I think I found the problem is with my Logitech K520 wireless keyboard has a setting to "swap F key functions".

    Even though I haven't programmed it's function keys, combination keys, enhanced functions keys, etc.

    When "swap F key functions" is selected from Logitech "Setpoint" software, Alt-F4 becomes enhanced and initiates the Music Playlist even though I haven't programmed any "enhanced" F keys.

    ========================

    Standard F key mode: Pressing the F-Key alone activates predetermined functions in the current application

    Enhanced F key mode: Pressing and holding Fn key and pressing and holding one of the F keys carries out the enhanced feature of that key (usually printed on the F key).

    ================

    So when "Swap F key functions" is selected (from Logitech Setpoint) the enhanced feature of the Alt + F4 is activated, bringing up the music playlist.

    Windows 10 possibly has some enhanced features for some of it's F and function keys combinations?

    Seems to be working ok now as long as "Swap F key functions" is de-selected from Logitech "Setpoint" software.

    If I was thinking about some configuration for another keyboard.Normally the classic or rather common keyboards do not matter the brand. The keys are usually the same, the same location and if it were the configuration.Good vibes for the auto response.
