Well, for some unknown reason the reply box on my laptop showed Title and Smilies but nowhere to write the reply!
I did change the battery, the old one read 2.45v the new one 3.2v.
I still needed to press F1 to get the Bios to load and the date showed as Dec 31 2004 time 23.23. Corrected.
I am using the Win 7 which is running oh so slow but may just need to update.
I have not plucked up the courage to flash the Bios, how risky is that job?
I had disconnected the other drives so did not do any scans on them. All I have connected at present is this Win 7 Drive and the WD Passport USB drive.
On my manual page 2-31 shows the tools required to put the PC together, when I get a chance I will try to find any reference to audible warnings, although I don't remember seeing any on my scans of the manual.
I have backed up my data on other drives, plus DropBox, One Drive and BT Cloud, so I reckon it may be time to reinstall Win 10 on a new drive. I am thinking along the lines of a 2.5" 500GB SSD drive in a 3.5" adapter.

I've just done some updates on the site and it seems a few old files were caching and causing issues, give the page a refresh and it should be ok now.

I am not sure which forum to post this problem so hope a mod can move it if needed.
Not experienced in these matters and do not wish to brick my PC. When I start up the PC the BIOS starts and then the screen shows to Enter F1 to enter setup. The BOIS shows as notify on fault and is enabled.
Obviously something is not right.I then enter advanced mode and change wait for F1 from enabled to disabled, save and exit. The BIOS restarts and all is well and Win 10 is up and running. This has only occurred over the last few weeks and has run fine for years.
I cannot see any screen that may give me some idea of what is wrong so cannot even attempt to correct it. If I shut down and turn the power off the problem appears, if I reboot without turning off the power I do not seem to get the error and the PC boots up without a problem.

Below is the BIOS screen information.
    American Megatrends
ASUS P8P67 PRO Rev 3.1 EFI BIOS 1.0.0.0022.
    BIOS INFO 1904 x 64
    Version 08/05/2011
    EC Version MBECE-0019
    ME Version 7.0.401197
I have the CD with AI Suite II but see there is now AI Suite III but no link to the new version.
I am hoping someone can give me some advice on this problem, perhaps some clue as to cause.
I am using Window 10 64, always kept up to date.
    Thank you.
By sheer coincidence I have had exactly the same problem.
My setup includes Dual Hard Drive Rack ie- two separate drives on same computer.
In my case solved... when you first enter Setup immediately click Exit, then "Save Changes and Exit."
Now both drives in my case appear cleared of this message after having only performed the above on only one drive.

Did you load the BIOS defaults after changing the battery? I've never had a problem flashing a BIOS but I always flash the BIOS using the built in BIOS tool or supplier's utility rather than from within Windows.

Firstly, I am still unable to enter any replies to my thread on my laptop. As above this happened this morning and z3r010 said it had been corrected and it was, but not for long as I am still unable to reply to any threads on this forum from my laptop that had had no problems doing so previously. This reply was typed on my Win 7 machine.

When I try to reply on my laptop I see the reply box appear for a fraction of a second then it disappears, leaving only the title box and smilies on the right.
Perhaps someone can advise a mod and we can find a solution?

    Back to my problem:
Ohps, I did not set defaults in the Bios when I replaced the battery, I will do so next time I reboot. I have spent much of today updating Win 7 Pro and installed programs, removing old programs and installing new printer etc. I will see what happens when I try to load Win 10, not holding out much hope though. Report back later.

Tonight's reading will be the chapter on flashing the Bios.

Not sure if your BIOS follows my BIOS history. At one point they came out with a BIOS that actually had to boot /update twice. I stopped updating mine, on my P8P67, at that point, version 2302.

Further to my post 34... I believe the reason was an Intel microcode update.

Tried a reply using Firefox on this laptop, again the text reply box only showed for a millisecond. On my PC using FF no problem. Using internet explorer for this. Must find a solution so may do new thread for that.
Slow job when you don't know what your doing, downloaded the new BIOS 3602 saved to USB drive. I have installed the ASUS AI Suite II so will try the EZ flash Utility.
    Fingers crossed.
Sorry you have the same problem Dencal, I really do not need this at the moment, we are having our house renovated so will have to move out for a couple of nights de to plastering the bedrooms so will not have the internet as the BT socket is the bedroom and will be covered up, plastering is very messy!
