Slow text entry at the curser

When I type at the cursor, frequently the text does not appear while I am typing. After a few seconds it begins to appear one character at a time. Is this a sign that my SSD might be failing?

    Hi, are you referring to:
    - using a browser
    - using an office program
    - using file explorer
    - some other dialogue

or at any time and in any dialogue anywhere?

    Thanks!

There are programs you can use to check your SSD. It's unlikely that's related. E.g. HD tune (free).

It seems to be anytime, anywhere. It's an HP Laptop and I ran HP's disk program. It did not find any errors.

Thanks. Could you post a screenshot of your task manager just to check resource usage?
To post a screenshot please use the Insert Image icon above your post.

Do you observe the same in Safe Mode?

Is there any correlation between this behaviour starting and anything else- e.g. build upgrade, installing another program....? How long ago did this start to happen?

Task Manager Processes display in a number of pages. There is no way to get a screen shot.
