Download, install and use Google Chrome for your browser. Make Google.com your home page.

Google Chrome - The Fast, Simple and Secure Browser from Google

Go into the Control Panel, Programs & Features and remove any toolbars.

Why install Chrome? Just setup IE correctly and it works fine for most things. Set the home page and search engine and you're mostly there.

If you want a really nice browser, take a look at Vivaldi.
