Windows 10 can BURN DVD via the EXPLORER, the problem is

when you look at the DVD "folder" before you copy your files to be burned, the "space" to drag/copy to already has a file called DESKTOP.INI that will be included in the burn. If you delete it, it just comes back.

How do I keep that dumb file from being burned with my data.

Desktop.Ini is a Hidden File. You will only see it if you have Hidden Files turned on.
It is a default file that is created when you copy files to or from your Desktop. it takes up hardly any space and it won't be visible unless the computer you are viewing the disc on has Hidden Files enabled. If you delete the file from your Desktop before sending files to be copied it will not show in the disc.
