    Are theres books out there that may help as a support tech?


    I know these forums and Google is all I really need. Any of you have a book on hand to use as a reference if needed? MCSA guide?

    Just about any issue you come across in Computer Repair has a corresponding Video on YouTube showing how to solve it. I use it often. If not there, then Google. For specific instructions for a certain computer, you can go to the Computer Manufacturers site and download the Manual.
    If you want a book, you should have a CompTIA A Plus study guide book to prepare for the A Plus Exam. But it might not help you with day to day problems
