hi all. I am not an insider but I finally got to 2 of the links but ended up being able to upvote the same post twice. Did my link work at all? They need to make it easier for the average user to use and upvote. This morning when I went to feedback hub (the app) I searched to find any threads with the error number and just vss and couldn't find a thing to upvote so I made a post there . My upvote is ConnieG

Just the feedback hub being a little improved. So far the only two things are these VSS errors and my jumplists had a problem but I figured them out. So basically, I just have the VSS errors which are really not having any impact on system performance as far as I can tell.

Like you, I am adamant about wanting a clean Event Viewer, but it is never gonna happen! I did have my Event View clean of any errors for one whole day; but that had to of been some kind of joke being played by Microsoft, because there is always at least two or three that persistently happen no matter what Version I was on.

Oh, by the way, you do know the CMD code for the CMD Prompt to clear the Event Viewer right? It helps to clear the errors and reboot to easily see which ones are first in line to be more stubborn.

Clear All Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows

I personally like the .bat file better myself in that article.

I think it was Tomcats from 2 different posts.. It was confusing because some opened to a webpage that did not load. It ended up being the same link but I was able to upvote it 2 separate times. Which has never happened before. Upvoted Drew and Ron's posts

" Like you, I am adamant about wanting a clean Event Viewer, but it is never gonna happen! "...……….my eventlog in 1809 is almost always clean/empty . You can disable the logging of several services/items in the eventviewer . ( look under Microsoft/Windows ) Have been searching for disabling these VSS-errors in the eventlog , but can not find them ………
Disable only the items which come back every time , but dont do any harm ( for example ; these VSS-items !)
Its a pity can not disable VSS in eventlog ( yet )………….

I uninstalled Feedback hub when I got my W10, and could reinstall it, but, is it required to have a Microsoft account to use it to for reporting issues? I don't have an account, and I really don't want to sign up for one.
