I am still getting them occasionally. Sometimes just the 13 by itself. . The stuff that happened for the sfc and dism in an earlier post from me was a corrupt windows defender platform update. I wish Microsoft could produce an upgrade and update that does not cause problems. In 1809 my laptop was part of a small handfull that got audit failures, might have been 1803 that produced them but I didn't notice until 1809 because I was keeping my nose out of event viewer. Anyway that is windows for you and has been since the beginnings. These errors are most certainly benign as they have not caused problems.

Nine pages of discussion on this and I fail to see where the problem is since backups restore properly even when the error codes are present in the Event Viewer.

I understand and respect wanting a clean Event Viewer; but Microsoft isn't going to fix a problem with a service if it's a false positive problem that doesn't really present a functionality issue.

There are tons of tutorials on how to remove one specific error from the Event Viewer and all you really have to do is remove the GUID that flags the error in the Event Viewer if you wish to not see this false positive error anymore.

Although his solution is eloquent, I really fail to see how running a batch file (even if automated with the task scheduler) every time before you shutdown is a resolution to a false positive problem.

I have the same errors and sfc reports no file integrity violations found and if I run the dism tool it also doesn't show anything.
