Hello, sorry for the late response.

BIOS update hasn't been necessary. I've stopped experiencing these freezes and hangs since updating to the recently released 1903 windows version, from being on the previous 1809 one. It may also have been from multiple active sound drivers that I've read can sometimes conflict and cause the symptoms I've been experiencing.

I was running 3 total (AMD High Definition Audio, Realtek High Definition Audio, and Logitech G430 Gaming Headset). It may explain why I've been experiencing these issues around about the same time that I had replaced my headset, as my previous headset never had it's own audio drivers or software. It just used the Realtek one I believe and was under 'Speakers' by default. I've since then disabled the Realtek and AMD one and left the Headset one active since that's primarily what I use.

I've been monitoring my PC for a couple of days, and am currently on day 5 with no freezes or hangs so far. Which is a positive sign since the maximum I usually went before experiencing any of these issues was 2 days. However, I'll keep in touch and hold out for a couple more days to see if the issues persist or come up again.

    Hello again,

So I can confirm that the issue has been completely resolved. I've not had any of the previously mentioned freezes or hangs for a total of 2 weeks now. Whether this was through the windows update or the audio drivers, or just a combination of everything that everyone has suggested thus far, there is no further visible signs of problems that I've noticed.

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions and support, hopfully this can be of help to someone with similar symptoms.

    Take care :)
