Explorer suddenly started working like "tab-mix plus". Stressful
Well almost but not as neatly or controllable as it decided to start opening everything while exploring files in a new window and also started forgetting the sizes and positions of the last opened file/window.
No apparent rhyme or reason.
When exploring files in Explorer, recently it decided to start opening most selections in a new window and would place them so when hunting thru the path of files you'd have many volumes in windows opened with the close window button placed where closing them was inconvenient.
Doing that would vaporize your file path and make is likely you'd have to start your searching from the beginning, more often than not.
The 'up' and 'back' arrows in the windows seemed to mostly stop working like they had been for quite some time.
I have no idea where to find what may have inadvertently changed, due to my oversight or something being broken, to affect this annoying behavior.
Can anyone offer any suggestions, direct me where to look, or possibly have a quick ten cent answer for my million dollar question?
It is greatly interfering with my work flow and reducing my machine's smooth and taken-for-granted capabilities and smooth logical behaviors.
Thank you
