Thanks. I tried renaming the folders under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Containers but get this message. I might try installing / uninstalling Application Guard again to see what happens.

Thanks. I enabled Application Guard again and the dates in all the folders under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Containers shifted to today - so Application Guard is the culprit. I then disabled Application Guard (and rebooted) but the files remain.
I think I've found a bug since the files which are quite large are not being deleted. I'll try the Safe Mode deletion fix provided someone doesn't chip in during the next day to warn me off
Steve, I have to go for a little while. I'll check back to see how all your efforts are going. Good luck. TC
I have the same folder structure on my laptop. I also noted there is a reference in the Registry as shown below.

In Disk Management, do you see a weird drive that might say "Read Only", or doesn't seem to be a real physical drive?
@Steve C
I found this about Application Guard in one of Shawn's tutorials. Appears that Hyper-V must also be enabled, which I'm sure you did when you first started playing with Application Guard. Then, you removed Application Guard and all those folders/files remained. Perhaps disabling Hyper-V will remove them and the reg entries. That's why I asked about the Disk Management drives, to see if there were any Virtual Drives (.vhdx).
