Screenshots.... not being saved in usual folder anymore?
A while ago, after an update a month or so ago, I've discovered that the screenshots no longer save in the Pictures library folder. Where did they go, and why were they moved?

Hi, could you specify which program you are using for screenshots? There are many 3rd party programs as well as Snip and Sketch (from 1809) or the Snipping tool, as well as using PrtSc (e.g. laptops) to capture the whole screen.
If @GuyInDogSuit means Winkey+PrtScn (Option One in the tutorial) then....
Take Screenshot in Windows 10 | Tutorials6. The screenshot is now saved in your C:\Users\(user-name)\Pictures\Screenshots folder with a file name of Screenshot (#).png with # indicating the screenshot index counter. Each screenshot you take increases the counter # by one...
Have you moved your Pictures folder to another location? If so, depending on how you did it, that could be the problem.
FWI my Winkey+PrtScn screenshots still end up in the correct place, even after upgrading to 1903.
Do you use OneDrive? There's likely to be a Screenshots folder there too. See if that's where they are ending up. Also, check the Properties of your Screenshots folder(s), it is possible to move their default location independent of the Pictures folder.
You could also try deleting your Screenshots folder. It will be recreated next time you use WnKey+PrtScn, hopefully with the default location now working.
You can also check where Windows thinks you have told it to save your Screenshots by looking in the Registry [C:\Windows\System32\regedt32.exe]
Look in the Registry Key
and you'll see an entry with the NameCode:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
and its Data shows the path where Windows is saving your Screenshots.Code:{B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F}
If that path no longer exists you can either change the Data to one that does or you can re-create the folder concerned.

When I press Win Key + Print Screen, the screen dims for a quarter of a second, and the screenshot goes to:
C:\Users\[Your User Name]\Pictures\Screenshots
Attachment 231727
Am I the only one who's screen doesn't flicker? Winkey/delete (print scr)
You do still get a screenshot though, I assume? Whether you see the flicker depends on your display settings. From the tutorial...
You will only see your screen(s) dim if you have the Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing turned on (checked) in your visual effects settings.
Usually:
%userprofile%\pictures\Screenshots
Except if you have onedrive set up to save them in your onedrive folder than they will be somewhere here:
%userprofile%\onedrive\prictures\screenshots (not sure but i assume somewhere here).
