Incomplete Language Change- some panels stuck on Chinese

I recently purchased a Lenovo notebook in China, it came with Windows 10 Home (Chinese language)

Right after the first setup and downloading all the recent updates I purchased the "Pro" upgrade through Settings->Update&security->Activation, in Microsoft Store.

The edition is now Windows 10 Pro.

I downloaded and installed the English (US) language pack, set it as default, including checking boxes in "Administrative language settings"

The operation was successful and the display language is now English, EXCEPT FOR:
    - Windows Update panel (Settings->Update&Security->Windows Update), which is stuck on Chinese, with some texts appearing in English
    - Edge browser, which is still Chinese
    - some minor popups, like the sound level

I already tried the solution from this post (2 years old):
Windows language not completely changed - Windows 10 Forums
(force Windows to run the setup (OOBE) again, using sysprep)

With the English language pack installed, the beginning of the setup process was in Chinese (the "please wait" message in the middle), then it all switched to English without any prompts, with Cortana speaking in English.
It didn't ask for a licence key, want through all setups and still, the result remains as in the img. I attached.

Any chance there's some other solution that came up in the past 2 years ?

    Hello!

I recommend downloading all the drivers from Lenovo's site and then format and do a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro directly in English (or whatever language you need). It is also possible to extract all the drivers to a folder (see tutorials) but it is not always easy to install the drivers from there as there is no setup, only the driver files. So I prefer to download them. Then use a Windows 10 Pro DVD or USB Flash drive and install Windows. You can use Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to download the ISO if you don't have it already. Most likely you won't be asked for a key, Windows Setup will automatically detect the Home key in BIOS and select the Home version. Don't worry, you can then use your Pro key to upgrade to Pro again. Once Windows installation is complete, install all drivers starting from the chipset and graphics. You don't have to install all Lenovo applications (such as Lenovo Update and battery saver etc). Install only the drivers and then any other applications you need.

That's what I did, and it worked flawlessly.

I performed a clean install using MediaCreationTool, btw. when creating it the recommended installation was Win10 Chinese language (even tho I'd already been running W10 Pro in English for some time). So looks like Chinese was somehow deep under the hood of this Lenovo distribution.

Selected all English options when creating the USB, the installation went without any problems and Windows activated itself, Now I'm running W10 Pro all English, no traces of Chinese (or other Chinese crapware added by Lenovo).
