Folders and files

I have 10,000 pictures in 150 folders and I want to be able to put all the pictures in detail?

You can apply folder view to all folders from Control Panel > File Explorer Options from View tab click Apply to Folders button.

Apply to Folders is not available (grayed out) when File Explorer Options is launched from the Control Panel, only from a File Explorer window opened to a file system folder. Click the View tab -> Options -> Change folder and search options.

Sorry i forget to mention that you need to open the File Explorer Options from within the folder you want to apply view settings.

In File Explorer Options, Control Panel, View there are no Options or change folder and search options so I know I'm doing something wrong but when I do this the right way will it change all 10,000 pictures to details because the folders have no meaning?

If you execute it from a folder that is using the Pictures template, it will change the view settings for all folders that use the Pictures template. Not sure what you mean by:

Thank you, I got this far, but how would I change all files or in my case pictures to details? I have 149 folder with 10,000 picture inside the 149 folder and I know there is a way to change all files to details but I haven't done it in windows 10.
