I messed up and apparently my Windows 10 bootloader has been deleted.
Any way to reinstall it?
Start up repair and bootrec commands didn't do anything, I tried.
I just want to reinstall the bootloader without having to tamper with my Windows installation.
What were you doing at the time? adjusting partitions , modifying bootloader, etc. A little more
info could direct you better.
Solved using this:
Rebuild BCD -- bootrec /rebuildbcd is not working -- C:\boot path not found
When updating W10 before Christmas it totally failed to reboot and trying to repair it from the installation USB stick I get
BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO
and it won't repair at all.
I wasn't really bothered at the time as I mainly use W7 but as that is coming to its end I ought to solve the problem with W10.
I am hoping that this will work for me.
Any pointers appreciated.
