Settings > System > Clipboard not appearing

Hi, I want to use clipboard history, but under Settings > System there is no Clipboard option available. Is it moved somewhere else ? When I search in "Find a setting" it doesn't find anything.

Hi, first, what is your Windows build? Sadly it's not a forum requirement to specifiy this, so we have to ask users again and again.

    Win key +r, winver

The feature was introduced in build 1809.

When I search in "Find a setting" it doesn't find anything.
Do you mean search in Settings doesn't work at all?
If so, please confirm Windows indexed search works normally.
If so, try re-registering the Settings app (tutorial)

    Settings > System > Clipboard not appearing-untitled.png

Here you will see searching for 'clip' finds relevant settings.

Is there any response to Win key + V?

    Your build doesn't support it.
    https://www.howtogeek.com/351978/usi...nd-cloud-sync/
Windows 10’s October 2018 Update has a new Clipboard experience. You can now access a history of items you’ve copied to your clipboard, pin frequently used items, and sync your clipboard across your PCs.
You could upgrade manually to 1809, but now you may as well wait another couple of months and get 1903- preferably AFTER the first major update to 1903 has been released. (Don't expect that necessarily in May via W Update).

Meanwhile if you want a form of clipboard history there are 3rd party tools... e.g.
    Ditto download | SourceForge.net

Note you can find a list of features per build in the News section for example- or generally with a search on the internet:

You may not have to wait very long. I have cloned my main machine to run it as a VM and just upgraded the VM to 1903, build 18362.30. I'm pleasantly surprised, so far it looks to be stable and well polished, none of the 'loose ends' previous Features Updates have been prone to.

Hi Bree- did you get it via MSDN? - I've not seen anything yet indicating a public release- including News here unless I've missed it..

And I well remember initial reactions to 1809 seemed favourable... and then...oops. Is Regback working?

No, via UUP Dump. Kari has a video on how to do that here: Windows 10 instructional videos by Ten Forums members - Page 129 - Windows 10 Forums
    ... Is Regback working?
    I'll look into that....

EDIT: No @dalchina, it still appears not to be working. I ran the task and Task Scheduler reports it having run successfully, but C:\Windows\System32\Config\RegBack remains empty.
